Well friends, for the first time in my entire life I’m on a smoothie kick.

I’ve been on an egg kick, avocado toast kick, oatmeal kick, chia pudding kick, and many other types of “kicks” before, but never a smoothie kick. This is new territory for me, but I’m loving it.

The smoothie I’m about to share with you is a smoothie I’ve been making on repeat for many days (weeks?) as I had a Costco sized box of oranges to use up and this smoothie was the perfect way to put them to use! Honestly, I can’t get enough of this smoothie.

In addition to my new love for smoothies, I am also very into chakra balancing, cleansing, and nourishing. I’m learning a lot about chakras lately and have been focusing on my sacral chakra, which is the second chakra located about three inches below your naval.

The sacral chakra is associated with emotions, feelings, relationships, sexuality, creativity, and fantasy. It’s also about flexibility and, since it’s associated with the water element, it’s characterized by movement and flow, which is one of the reasons I’m calling this smoothie “Orange Flow-Yo”!

Another reason for the name is because it’s basically as thick as a smoothie can get and resembles a fro-yo (frozen yogurt), but made with all real, whole, and nutrient dense foods, which also nourish the sacral chakra.

Foods that nourish the sacral chakra are orange as well as healthy fats (to promote flow!)

This smoothie contains orange foods that nourish the sacral chakra like orange and sweet potato, but also healthy fats coming from coconut butter. You’re absolutely going to love this smoothie! I believe it’s the reason why I’ve been so cheery and feeling like I’m “in the flow” lately! The past two weeks of eating this smoothie have been some of my most creative weeks in a really long time!

Don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉 You might just find yourself being extra creative or inspired after eating this smoothie!
